Blurb: The Book Waitress, Camille Dutton, has luck on her side. Good and bad. On the upside, she narrowly escaped death and Satan claiming her soul. On the downside, a portal has been opened, and she can feel every time a creature from Hell crosses over to our world.
Derek Galloway is one tenacious man. His curious nature won't let him rest until he closes Hell's portal and finds a cure for Camille's affliction. Satan will have one helluva fight on his hands if he tries to claim her again.
Camille and Derek, an unlikely couple, have found each other in the darkest of times. Will they find the answers they need to free her and the world from Satan's grip? Or are they in for the longest, darkest battle of their lives?

LT'S REVIEW: Camille almost drowns when she was a child and that near death experience put her on the radar of Satan. Since that day he has made plans to claim her as his own. He almost succeeds when he has his evil cult kidnap her to open the gates of hell. He has symbols carved into her body that burn and light up every time something passes through the gate now. Knowing she is now responsible for hell on earth,  she has to stop it no matter what.
Derrick is a reporter and ever since he laid his eyes on the new librarian from the mainland he knew they had a connection. He had no idea some of that connection was due to the fact she was the next victim of the Cult he had been investigating.  Children have been coming up missing for years so it was weird when Camille, an adult, was chosen. That was until he saw her pinned to the alter, bloody from head toe with the symbols of hell cut into her flesh.
Can two normal humans take on and defeat Evil? Together they will do anything within their power to save the world from experiencing what Camille went through.
RATING: 4.5
